Dryden Goodwin
Dryden Goodwin incorporates other mediums into
his work such as scratching into images as well as combining photography with
drawings and live action video. Goodwin’s work has been exhibited in gallery’s
such as the ‘Tate modern’, ‘The Photographer’s Gallery’, ‘Venice Biennale’ and
the ‘Hasselblad Foundation’
Dryden Goodwin’s work inspires my project by the
way he uses scratching to amplify the shapes present in his subjects such as the
shape of someone’s head. From looking at Goodwins work I have come up with
ideas such as using scratching objects into images for example scratching a
phone into someones hand to make it look like a hologram fitting into my theme
of ‘the future’.
