Idea Change
The original idea for this
project was to encompasses all of surrealism having no real theme pretty much
doing what came to mind, this idea then changed several times to try and give
it a more general and streamlined theme such as perceptions of reality, however
after then making work which fit none of these themes I have decided to change
my idea to ‘The Future’ in order to keep most of my current work and progress
relevant such as my videos like the fake advert and fake TV intro as they relate
to the theme by showing a vision of what the future could be like for example a
holiday on the moon could be possible in the future whereas in the present it
isn’t. While these videos have a more retro look/feel to them so do a lot of
media coming out today for example tv shows like ‘Stranger Things’ and games
like ‘Cuphead’.
By changing the theme to something
that encompasses my current work for the most part I am able to continue
producing work similarly to what I have been making so far such as videos
combined with other medias such as drawing and animation.
