Sense of scale
For my third shoot as I will be shooting in
shallow water I will be playing with the scale of things such as people,
objects etc. as seen in the mock up image I made for my shoot 3 plan. I will
experiment with scale in both images and video inspired by artists such as
‘Tommy Ingberg’ and films such as ‘The Borrowers’. Due to my new theme of ‘the
future’ I will experiment with mixed media to create places which will be
placed underwater with different scales such as cities created by collage,
drawings etc.
The idea of playing with scale and underwater
images comes from when I first got an action camera as the first thing I did
with it was placing it underwater in a river so see what kind of images it
produced and what could be done with it.
The idea of an underwater city comes from the
mythical city of Atlantis, so by combining it with different scales I will try
and make it seem like it is real and that it was just really small and in a
shallow pool of water.
